Chelsea | Day 3
A different place today
The walk to site is familiar now — Chelsea pavements, spring terracotta pots on windowsills, green squares guiding the way through this small borough.
On site, attention narrows.
The feature Acer from @deepdaletrees is gently shifted — centimetres, millimetres. This may be the first adjustment, it is potentially not the last.
Hand watering begins for what has been years in the making.
A tree long nurtured elsewhere now requires the same care here.
The @patrick_clarke_landscapes design is beginning to reveal itself — discarded materials, resilient planting, a structure taking form.
By the end of the day, it’s possible to sense it:
a garden being shaped not just to grow, but to hold calm — a place where care and quiet connection can begin.
