Chelsea | Day 26

A final walk through the Chelsea Flower Show, and The Children’s Society Garden —
with a small glimpse for those following from afar.

Twenty‑six days on site, moving through build, show and conversation, before the work continues — through breakdown and relocation to a Children’s Society destination in Leighton Buzzard.

It’s hard to leave this project, and this remarkable team.

Reconnecting with colleagues from Chelsea shows past, working again within a group shaped by acceptance, inclusion and shared understanding —
the steady rhythm of long days, cups of tea, sporting banter, laughter, and a collective purpose, to build and share a garden for an important cause.

With sincere thanks also to The Children’s Society staff and volunteers, whose generosity and care carried the garden —
welcoming visitors, answering questions, and holding the space with quiet confidence.

Thank you, @patrick_clarke_landscapes,
for the invitation to work within your design
and be part of this Gold Medal garden.

Now, looking forward to re‑familiarising myself with the Yarra Valley terroir, and the familiar company of family dogs at my feet.
