Over a 13 year period, Ayus Botanical have been the preferred landscaping partner of Doherty Hotels, developing properties of diverse climatic and environmental conditions. A respect and understanding of client and designers working style developed over the years. Key to this success was keeping the garden central to the property design.
From the tropics of Cairns, to the peaks of Cradle Mountain, the cool climate of the Blue Mountains, to the goldfields of central Victoria, vast parklands to lush resort living, compact apartment rooftop gardens to commercial hotel kitchen gardens, Ayus Botanical enjoyed the rewards of adapting to these varying environments.
Featured here, newly planted in 2003, St Helens Tidal Waters Resort. Set in Tasmania’s Bay of Fires, on three hectares of lagoons and coastal gardens, Ayus Botanical converted coastal grazing land to a parkland setting by planting indigenous and exotic plant species.
